"Parenting From the Heart:  Raising children using Compassionate Communication"

An 8-week class for parents, grandparents and caregivers of young people

Susanna Warren, the lead instructor of this class series.   Join us for an exploration of compassionate parenting using tools that are neither permissive or punitive, but rather that create connection and strengthen goodwill.

This 8-week class will show you how to create an environment that helps children develop communication and social skills that are cooperative, and that support the mutual well being of themselves and others.

This class will help you meet other parents who are struggling with some of the same issues you are, and will provide a supportive environment for you to improve your parenting and your compassion for yourself!  Read a complete description here.

Free child care will be provided
as part of the registration fee for this class!

"Don't Be Nice, Be Real: Living and communicating authentically"

Our Spring conference, presented by our NVC community!

Jeff Brown, the lead trainer for this event.

Join us to discover the benefits of expressing yourself honestly and authentically, even when the stakes are high (and your fears are the greatest!).

While approaching difficult conversations is something that many people shy away from, we will explore how to prepare yourself for scary conversations, how to initiate them, and how to stay with them long enough to experience a magical shift.

This event is open to everyone, regardless of your experience level.  There will be a Beginner and Intermediate Track running throughout the event to support people at all stages of their learning of Compassionate Communication.  Join us for a fun, experiential and moving exploration of the power of living with authenticity.

"Introduction to Compassionate Communication"

Please join us for our free monthly Compassionate Nonviolent Communication (NVC) Meetup.  Connect with people who have similar interests, such as learning more effective communication, improving relationships at home and at work, and understanding the deeper motivations that we and others have for our choices (and how to empower ourselves to make better choices).

No previous experience is required for these events, and everyone is welcome.  This event will be led by Jeff Brown, Executive Director of CCCO.  RSVP or learn more at our NVC Meetup group.
