Our Annual Giving Campaign: 2011-2012

Dear Friend,

   The year 2011 has been a breakthrough year for Compassionate Communication of Central Ohio.

  A participant in one of our trainings in 2011. In addition to hosting three public conferences each with 80+ participants, we established training programs in three Central Ohio schools, sponsored an international retreat for training Compassionate Communication trainers, and launched a Restorative Justice project to help all affected parties in a conflict restore trust and goodwill.

   Now in our sixth year of existence, we have begun to see the impact of our efforts – schoolteachers are creating compassionate classrooms, social workers are relating to their clients with more empathy and effectiveness, and businesses are creating workplaces where everyone contributes and enjoys going to work.

   Today, we are writing to celebrate these accomplishments, share with you our goals for the coming year, and invite you to help us achieve those goals and create a world where everyone’s needs matter.

   We are a growing community of people who are supporting a world where people are resolving their differences nonviolently:  without the use of violence, force or coercion, but rather by using tools for communicating and living with empathy, authenticity and compassionate honesty.

   In spite of our successes, there remains much work to be done to fulfill our vision of a community where we live in peace and compassion for all.  In order to expand our reach into additional sectors of our community – and to bring the help to where it is really needed – we need your financial support.

   Your tax-deductible contribution will increase our capacity to serve schools, social service agencies and nonprofit organizations and bring them vital communication and relationship skills.  We are helping to create a more compassionate, safe and meaningful world for everyone, and we need your help.

   We welcome contributions of any amount – there is no minimum or maximum – and we encourage you to contribute a monthly amount that will sustain our work in an ongoing way.
